As the name describes, this is litterally a city built into a rather large part of the Forested areas in Dinotopia, located somewhat near the Rainy Basin! The inhabitants here quickly learn to get over a fear of heights.

Flash was wondering around the outskirts of Hookwood searching for some prey. Having spotted a Hypsilophodon the Albino crept foreword with a stealth that seemed out of place for the size of his body. Though having crept foreword a few more feet his luck ran out and his back foot caught a twig and there was a large 'snap' that echoed throughout the forest.
The Hypsilophodon who had his head bent low to the ground munching on some plants suddenly became alert. The creature looked around franticly as if searching for danger. The carnivore growled deep in its throat, its lips lifting in a snarl. The creature lunged and began sprinting towards the Hypsilophodon, who began running through the tropical forest. The predator close behind and gaining.
The chase was exciting to Flash and it caused him to jump in the air a little too early. His sickle like claw came crashing down not a few inches away from the back of the Hypsilophodon. The Dino then shot out at a different direction and the Albino turned to give chase but all it saw was the world spinning and the world go Grey.
Flash surged foreword smelling the ground and using his hearing to locate the prey. After several minuets of trying and failing to locate the Dinosaur the Utahraptor Ostrommaysi gave up. It was a huge blow to his pride but a new problem arose. During the chase Flash had lost his way and had no way to find his way back to the middle of the Rainy Basin.

(O.O.C... Not a bad start! you're getting into it fairly well, however posting in this area pretty much secludes you from anyone for quite some time!, you would have been more involved starting in Waterfall City, where a slew of the cast currently is, before we shortly take off for Sauropolis, unless you're able to get there some time after, or around when we do. In any case it sounds like Flash isn't haveing a good day D:, we'll have to do something about that)-keep up the good work-

IC: Day patrol on call…
The pair of Corythosaurs halted at a crossroads in the path, their riders both human; male and female with nondescript racial features, looked down every road at the intersection. They had gotten orders to patrol this section around Treetown, for rumors said that there was a strange unseen creature prowling these woods; and many a folk in these parts have claimed their loved ones had gone missing, and they had the unfortunate task of investigating this. Both Corys brayed as they scanned the wilderness beyond the comfort of the path, but smelled nothing amiss; and the keener eyesight of their human riders saw nothing out of the ordinary as they urged their steeds onward. The light armor both riders and their counterparts wore clinked as they changed direction, heading south; and somewhat closer to the Rainy Basin, a prospect that none of them especially relished!
“What do you think is out there?”, asked the male rider as they headed around a curve.
“Perhaps some rogue tyrannosaur…”, said the female. “But let’s not hope so!”, her Cory chortled.
His Cory burbled a string of speech. “No Aldo, I don’t think it’s anything large.”, he replied. “If it were, someone would have seen it by now.”
Onward they patrolled, and so did several other Saurian Guard teams around Treetown; being assigned different quadrants to patrol, but none of them detected what was out there. This creature was swift and smart, and knew he was being sought out; and knew not to be captured, so onward he eluded all patrols…

Flash watched through one of the many bush's that lined the path that the Saurian guards were walking on. Flash had enough sense to wash up in a stream beforehand, then roll around in some mud to cover up his smell and the brightness of his coloration.
The Utahraptor smiled to himself at his cleverness and then thought of what he did in the past week. He wasn't that hungry since he just ate. Even though all the herbivores thought the carnivores only ate meat. Well meat is the only thing that gives them the nutrients they need. But wild berries taste good, especially after a Fresh meal.
Flash was smart enough to hunt under the cover of darkness and only attack the family's alpha's. He left the children and the females alone. He had enough honor to at least do that. Plus he usually only picked families which already had older siblings already grown up.
The Saurian guards whispered something about a rouge tyrannosaur. Flash yawned and a idea hit him, if he could lure one into a trap then maybe he could threaten the Cory's life partner, giving him the opportunity to gain information on Flash's whereabouts. As flash watched the two guards he decided to follow then.
