"A Quest of Friends Pt. 2"

Alright, this Thread will be for the official planning of the Next chapter in A Quest for Friends. This one shall be entitled -The Explorer's Expedition- (unless you got a better name, to which case I'm all ears)

So my basic synopsis for ideas are these..
1. (primary A: Tarion, becomes part of the Explorer's Guild under recommendation of Sir Mondor, as well as the others that join. Sir Mondor has Christopher train them in the ways of being an explorer, then they begin getting assignments which delve them right into the heart of Dinotopia digging to the roots of several un-rested mysteries, solving national issues and learning to work as a unit as they go along. They will face many challenges and puzzles along the way, some which will test an individual's skills in general.. such as by way of example, Tarion's skills for translation of runes... may be necessary for them to progress, or solve a puzzle, or give them propper directions) same goes with any character with outstanding skills.

2. (primary B: Falokar and Kestria's Journey of Peace and understanding on the Dintopia mainland) The two travel to the dintopia mainland as per request via the Sauropolis and Waterfall City courts. They will be giving their argumentation for their actions and why things went the way they did, Falokar will be put on trial for going A WOL when he was supposed to be spying on Dirge's group, as well as the fact that he is now suspected of aiding Nicholai Sanders (which he didn't do) this will cause some problems for him and Kestria....
I'm pretty sure at one point he and kestria will be forceably separated.... kestria may even be kidnapped and tried to be forced into mateing with a different dromeasaur pack... -she'll deny them of course and they'll try to have their way with her but given her fighting skills she'll be able to either fend them off for a while or make an escape, (especially if Falokar taught her a few tricks) or maybe it does happen and something morally heartbreaking comes of it -we'll hit that when we get there (if we get there)-

3: other plots (this is up to any and all who participate and want a sub plot involved)

Any and All ideas are welcome... it'd be nice to have a full plan before we get started.

1) As for me, I was hoping for a completely different name for the RP. (Oh, I don't know... maybe someone else could think of a new title.) "A quest of friends #2" is like 'Jaws 2' or 'Friday the 13th part 3 in 3d'... No imagination! Maybe we could get suggestions for it and pick the best one, maybe a contest or something!

2) After christopher trains them (Perhaps we could add new characters as other training cadets.) in Sauropolis, they graduate in a ceremony in Waterfall City; and only then are they to receive thier assignments. (Some of Tarion's ideas can be used, and perhaps he gets clues about the Mother Sunstone along the way - or even in the plaes that are discovered!)

3) Strange friendships pop up within the group, and rivalries within the group come at inoppertune moments (Just to make the polt twisty enough!). Friendships and rivalries appear with persons outside the group as well (Perhaps more run-ins with pirates like on the TV series: LaSage and her group!)

4) We need more RPers for this one! I suggest we get all our friends and anybody else who wishes to join AND STICK WITH IT to submit thier character bios in this thread as well.

Alright, it's agreed that we can make a new title for this RP....

I agree with most of your ideas as well

(still debateing on that small series of events I described for happening to kestria, part of me says that's morally wrong and that she should only be with falokar, another part says, it would make for some GREAT drama if something did happen. Ultimately she will Most likey still end up being Falokar's Mate.... but there's always that small "what if" The idea seems exciteing and mortifyingly scary at the same time.... I'm leaning more towards she just stays with him the entire time (just to keep things safe, it's only if others agree that something should happen to her that i'll go with it)

Possible title: Breaking the Barrier, Exploring the lost regions

yeah.... after thinking about it, takeing out any possible bad stuff happening to kestria, without Falokar being there, and certainly nothing that would separate them, she'll still be put in danger, as will they all, but nothing heartbreaking (unless specified otherwise, in which it will have to be a joint agreement between myself and Thundertail)

Another way to get new RPers is to announce the new RP in the affiliate boards (See banners scrolling at the bottom of the page.). Say "Hey guys! There's a great new RP starting up in Dinotopian RP! Anyone want to join..." (Or something like that!). I'm sure that some of them miught be curious enough to check it out - and possibly want to sign up!

Want to do any Rainy Basin action? I'm sure the carnivores will be chomping at the bit to have a claw in this one! (LOL!)
There should be the need of saurian guards, and there should be Skybax galore, too!
And it wouldn't be complete without the Matriarch intervening in a place or two...
Maybe Tebo's uncle and Partner could show up as well (Hazen hasn't seen him since the RP before 'A quest of friends'!).
I think we should all re-post our character bios as well.

agreed, I'm hopeing you can do the announcments on the othersites since i tried to join the rainy basin but it wouldn't let me. i'll repost my character bios after a while, (Tarion, Asrial, Falokar & Kestria) -Kestria will not have anything bad happen to her outside of the normal dangers.
