To All;

I hesitate to join a third RP, but the other two aren't exactly flowing smoothly, so I'm thinking of joining M's Awakening.

One problem; the dialogue and actions of the convoy members could greatly affect where this RP goes. The stickler is that Marc started it so I look to him for direction. I assume he has distant goals in mind for Marc. So I plan to be very cautious and take hints and ques from Marc as to how I use my characters.

A few Questions:
Marc ~ Where is the convoy headed?

Anemone ~ What is Grizelda's relationship to Rieh? I realize that you want to reveal this yourself, but logically some in the convoy must be aware of it. Unless you are very clever . . .

And just to be annoying: If Rieh knew he was in Redback territory then why was he so lost? Why did he not avoid it?

Give me data and suggestions. Jump on me if you don't like something and I'll change it or erase it. And if something seems bland or boring, I might be able to spice things up.

Well first things first i want to get to waterfall city, sign on, get assigned somewhere, etc. etc.
I hadn't really planned that far ahead. I had expected the convoy to be heading for Waterfall City. Marc should fit right in. He won't be too troublesome. He might even open a shop or something!!

I'm waiting for the opportunity to jump in, Anemones good scenario that fits in there. I figured if y'all need someone to be the nice people at the convoy, then Barry Lionhart & Gathranth could be part
of that convoy. I really don't know how to go with is until someone
makes up there mine where this convoy is going and how it fits in to the story.

Understandable. I think I'll go with Marc on their destination--Waterfall City is the place to go. It's a bit of crossroads, anway, even though it doesn't appear to be a huge commercial center.

And it'd be funny to put Righ in a city. *insert evil laughter here*

So the whole point of this RP is to follow Marc as he settles in? How long do we expect to keep our characters centered around him? We'll have to branch off fairly quickly and then we have two or three storylines to keep up. Unless we cut out a character as soon as he/she departs from Marc. Then people drop out permanently unless they plan to come in again later when it is convenient or they create a new character. It seems most of you are not keen on creating new characters spontaneously.

I can create a character who will take Marc underhand easy enough, but I expect I shall quickly tire of trying to be freshly informative and keep the story spiced up. I'm no expert on Dinotopia and I hate making up things when something official is already established. Hence, the Wiki we need, to smooth out the ways of our RPs.

I suggest with the utmost respect that we hold off on RPing for a while and lay a few storylines out that we can then proceed to run from. It will make things easier, won't it?

I am hopefully putting up my general storyline concept in that established Wiki that Marc mentioned. You know, the one he wants to 'take over'?

I also intend to put up a Topic in the "Announcements" Forum at ToP, so we'll see what support we might be able to get from there. Hopefully, lots.

And I'm thrilled to find out that you are an artist, Anemone! I'm am sure I can give you plenty of work.

On a Wiki note: Maybe we should e-mail our "article" files around between each other before we put them up in the Wiki? Though things can be added and edited therein, so I guess not.
