ooc: Is Ridgeback a Stegosaurus too?
Tom was overcome with fear. He had to get out of there, pronto!
He turned back to snag one last look at those dinosaurs, and saw Tiasalle touch Nora. She was unharmed. Perhaps these dinosaurs were safe...............
"Tom, Get over here now!" Richard barked.
Tom ignored him and slowly approached Nora. He was starteld when Ridgeback said something in english. "Y...you can talk? How is that possible?" His fear was almost completly gone and replaced with wonder.
Meanwhile, Richard was becoming more agitated by the minute. "Tom, you're going to get hurt. Come here, now!"

Rex walk up behind Richard and place his right hand on Richard's left shoulder "clam down man, their plant eaters, they men u no harm, let Tom find out the wonders of this Island for him self, how old is he by the way"

"Actually, Rex, Ridgeback is a Ceratosaurus, a carnivore, but he looks civilized enough to me" Tia corrected automatically
Justin ran up to them, panting, "What's the matter, Ridgeback? Did something else fall down?"
Ridgeback was breathing heavily, "Did either of you teach this girl the Dinotopian greeting? She's too young to know the English language so fluently..."
Tiffany pulled Justin aside, "I tried to break the news to them gently, the dolphinback boy reacted badly, but he's getting over it now, I think. The girl just approached them like she did this every day and greeted them in the English language, she's too young to know any other language than Dinotopian or Basic Saurian"
Tia tapped Tiffany on the shoulder, "Sorry for interrupting, but I think that man over there needs some Trilobur Tea if he is ever going to relax"
She looked over to see Richard, clasping at his chest as if he were going to have a heartattack at any moment. The stranger named Rex was trying to calm him down, but without much success. An idea struck Tia's mind. She took his clasping hand in hers and laid it flat against his chest, where his heart was. She breathed deeply and said in a soothing voice, "Everything here is okay. All you meet are friends and will never harm you in any way. If this is not the case, you can rely on me to protect you, Richard" she looked kindly into his eyes and relaxed, relying on natural synergy for him to calm down as well.

nods and shakes his head "new comers, it'll be a while before they grow used to this place, it only took me 24hrs to get used to this place"
he walked over to where Raven and laid down beside her

Tom approached the two dinosaurs. "C....Ceratosaurus...........amazing! And-and-and Stegosaurus........how is this possible?!" He walked to Ridgeback and touched him gnetly. "I always wanted to meet a theropod........."
Richard meanwhile was loosing it. He grasped his chest and panted heavily. "Oh.......ooooh......oooh my god.....how.......aaah!" he fell over in a full blown panic attack. He never told anyone but Tom's father, but he had a condition. His heart tended to become eratic in it's beating when his stress levels go too high.
Tom heard Richard's distress. "Rich!" he tried to bolt, but remembered his leg when he fell over. He got up, grabbed his crutch and limped to Richard. "Rich, r-relax man. I-it's ok........." Tom was becoming upset again. His closest friend was on the gorund in a languid state, convulsing and screaming. Perhaps this ment he would be all alone in this strange place very shortly...........

Tia almost screamed, but bit her tongue. Justin patted Tiffany on the shoulder, "Stay here and help him" he said, "I'm going to get help"
Justin climbed on to Ridgeback's back and soon the pair were off away from the desert.

looks at Rich who is loseing his mind "he need rest, i think 10 mills would do it" he say loading a blue liquid into a drank dart and loads it into and air rifle shooting Rich in his right arm makeing him sleep
"dont worry he wont die, thats the normal dose give to humans" he says picking up Rich and placeing him on some hay. "when he wakes up he will feel like, well u know what" he say laughing returning to Raven

Tom was furious about this medicine. "Wait, 10 mills of what? Hey, what is that?" But it was too late, it had been injected.
"This is crazy, i....god i'm starving......." he started to mutter to himself.

Tia looked at Tom, raising an eyebrow, he could certainly change the subject quickly enough. "Tiffany?" she asked, not knowing what else to do, "I'm sorry to be so rude, but is there any way we could help in return for a meal? I could help you fix the house in return for lodging and food, I could perhaps even work for Tom's stay as well if neccessary"
Tiffany looked from one person to another, trying to decide what to do. "Oh dear" she muttered, "The storm has done so much damage, I don't know what we have, but your help would be appreciated...Why don't the both of you come inside while this young man takes care of Richard? We could settle on something..."

Tom shook his head. "Ok, just relax. Take a deep breath........can i join you guys? Rich, don't worry, i'll be right back." He started to limp after Tiffany and Tia.
Richard stirred on the ground. "Ooorg......what the........" he groaned and fell over again. "God, i had the strangest dream......wait, where am I?"

Richard stared at Rex blankly. "Dina......holy crap it....it wasn't a dream......." Richard groaned and staggared as he rose. "I don't know what the heck is going on, but i'm just going to go with it, Mr. Rex. Now then......." richard headed back for the house, staggaring left and right as if he were drunk. His heart was fine for the moment, but he wasn't thnking clearly.

Tom slowly entered the house, grunting frim his leg pains. "So, what is with this agreement? If it is part of your custom to trade favors, at least i think that's how it works, what can i do to repay you? Yo-you've done so much for me and Richard........i want to help with something."

Tia smiled at Tom, he knew how to relax. That was very good for someone who had just landed on Dinotopia. She turned to Tiffany, her smile still on her face, "Perhaps, in the future, it would be nice to show this young man Sauropolis or Waterfall City. I think he would enjoy it, don't you?" she said in Dinotopian
Tiffany just shook her head and kept muttering, "Wonder of wonders, wonder of wonders"
They sat and began to take note of everything that had to be repaired in their house. Tia piping up and suggesting little, useful ideas here and there and trying to comfort Tom at the same time. In the middle of a sentence, Tia started. "Braveheart!" she shouted out of no where
"I should say he is" Tiffany agreed, gesturing towards Tom
Tia ran outside, delirious, "Braveheart! Braveheart! Where are you?"
Tiffany followed, "What are you talking about, child?"
Tia began crying and sat in the sand, rocking back and forth, "Where are you, Braveheart?"

"Braveheart! Where are you?!" Korkoa looked up, startled, when he heard the screams. He ran towards them "Mabye someone's in trouble! I might be able to help!" he ran all the way to the coast before he found the source of the screams. A small girl sat iin the sand, crying. "Uh... hello?" Korkoa said, stepping out of the bushes, "Are you allright?"

"I-I don't know" Tia replied, "But you can't miss him. He looks like a miniature massospondylus with black and green striping and when he talks he always has to rhyme. I remember, sort of, that we were really good friends. We saved each other's lives. He got sick and I carried him from the Forbidden Mountains to Sauropolis. Then, while we were traveling through the Basin he saved me from...Oh no!"
Tiasalle stood up, her hands pressed against her mouth. That was when the storm had hit! The Tyrannosaur had chased Tia and Braveheart from the Basin and across the beach. Then something had hit Tia in the head, leaving the juvenile Saurian to fend for himself. Tia knew Braveheart too well, though. He would have stayed behind and...
The thought was too disturbing and Tiasalle concluded outloud, "We have got to find him!"
She ran across the beach, not thinking of much else than finding her friend. She paused as she looked ahead. A large mountain of a Tyrannosaur lay motionless a few yards away.
