WHOOOAAHHH!! My mind was just blown!! I've known this by heart for years (including translating the original tablet out of footprint myself - there is a mistake in it  ) but I never realized it was an acrostic! That rocks! Wow, thanks for the welcome! I was just directed here by Dwaggie/Barry from that Official Dinotopia Message Board over yonder *jerks a claw in its direction* as I'm curious what the Dinotopia role-playing is all about. I've only been part of the online Dinotopian community for 2 weeks (if one can be considered a part after only that long - they sure have helped me feel welcome over there!) and, like exploring Dinotopia itself, I find every day that there's something new to discover. I've posted some introductions and a little backstory on the OMB. I'm probably here more as an observer than a participant, as there seems to be an abundance of talent here already, but now I know where to come when I have another flash of inspiration. |
