Cracking down on spammers

Hey members, there have been a lot of spammers on the site lately, and I'm sick of it.

I keep deleing posts and blocking IPs, but they keep comming.

I have made it where guests can ONLY post on the "The Code" forum.

Guests can no longer post links.

I added "Spam Poison".
It sucks in all spam bots and feeds them millions of fake emails and websites to spam.

I have blocked many characters that aren't used in the english language. They are replaced by "SPAM!"

I am also looking for a code which requires guests to enter their email when they post.

If you see a post that looks something like this:

I hope the SPAM is staying away a bit now? Did it help to make most of the sub boards only accessible to members? Good luck with the SPAM fight.

Yeah, there is only 1 or 2 boards that guests can post on.
And all of the spam stuff I have blocks most of it.
