Verbenaceae Tectona: (Teak)

A hardwood native of South and Southeast Asia, common in Monsoon Forest environments; also prevalent in the Philippines. It's heavy oily wood is ideal for construction in those areas. In Dinotopia, they grow best in the Rainy Basin.
