Glyphtodont:

An ancient type of mosquito that carries a malaria-like disease. Native born Dinotopians are immune to thier bite, but to newcomers, the bite is deadly! The only known cure is 'Arctus mandibus', which only grows in Bog Peat marsh and certain swampy areas of the Rainy Basin. The main dangers there are the Mosasaurs.
