The odd sound of metal jingling can be heard at the outskirts of the dinosaur Olympics. Almost as though thousand of metal scales were bouncing off each other.
Anyone who would care to look would get quite a shock. There, approaching the parade grounds, was a raptor, a meat eater. And as if that wouldn’t cause enough of a stir, this particular raptor was wearing armour, and it fitted him rather well.
The keen of eyes would have yet a third shock. The approaching figure was carrying a weapon, a blade on the end of a pole. The flat of the blade occasionally making a clear twang as it struck the armour on the back of the raptor, where the weapon was stored.
Approaching the nearest group, the raptor bowed, inadvertently giving the onlookers a clear view of the nicks, and scratches on the razer sharp blade.
“Hello.” The raptor spoke as he rose from the bow,
“My name is Jaffer.”
