Name (First and last): Marc Le Singe
Age: 26
Gender:male
Species (Human or the species of Suarian) : human
Location (Anywhere on Dinotopia): somewhere on the island.
Personality: Marc is quiet, reserved, intellectual. He is not terribly outgoing, but he is an astonishingly good public speaker and actor; he loves music and art, and escpecially reading. He does have a darker side, however, as he can lose his temper quite embarassingly and has a difficult sense of humour which doesn't appeal to everyone. He can be occasionally clumsy and heavy handed as a result of his diffidence and this often gets him into trouble. He is, despite all this, somewhat of a lady's man and can be very suave; his culture impresses many and he is very friendly and open to people once he has got to know them.
Effects: Marc has about him a first aid kit, a wallet of money (dollar and pound notes), a chart of the pacific ocean, a rucksack containing a flask and some food, as well as a spare set of clothes, an mp3 player and a copy of George Orwell's animal farm. He has an expensive camera (smashed beyond repair during his 'arrival') and a video-camera with only one spare battery.
How you ended up on the island: Marc is the son of Sir Edward Le Singe, an English chep from the midlands. Marc has grown up in a liberal and expensive environment, as his family is very rich: his father is a succesful business-man. He spent most of his life in a manor-house, but had decided to see some of the world. During his stay in Hawaii, Marc hired a plane and pilot to take an island-hopping tour of the pacific.
After an interesting flight with a couple of overnight stays, MArc and his guide set off on the return journey. On the way back, the plane hit a storm, and despite the efforts of the pilot the plane went down. The plane was almost new and very high-tech, so once through the storm the pilot attempted to glide it down onto the island; a giant bird-like creature attacked the plane, causing enough damage to rule out that idea, and in any case giving the pilot a massive heart attack. The now pilot-less and critically damaged plane hurtled to earth, whilst Marc closed his eyes and prepared to meet his maker....
Earth, Air or Water: Earth.
