Will Dennison came to Dinotopia on November 11th, 1862.
He and his father Arthur Dennison were in a shipwreck and were brought ashore by dolphins.
They were eventually found by a dinosaur named Bix and a young girl named Sylvia., who took then to a hatchery nearby where they found a man who spoke English. He told them that they were on an island called Dinotopia.
Eventually, they made their way to Waterfall city along with Bix where they began their studies of Dinotopia and learned the language.
On the way there, they stopped in Volcanium where Will saw a Skybax and Skybax rider. He was fascinated by them.
After his studies in Waterfall city, he and his father traveled across the Rainy Basin to the village of Treetown near the edge of the Basin. Once there, Sylvia from the hatchery arrived. Arthur thinks that they planned to meet there secretly. They both grew more and more fond of each other.
Sylvia and Will competed in the Dinosaur Olympics together.
The prize was the trade of their choice. In the end they won and they both picked their trades to be skybax riders. Will, Sylvia, and Arthur left Tree Town and headed for Canyon City where they began their training. Arthur and Bix went on an expadition to The World Beneath. Durring their training, the Skybax captain, Oolu, sent them both on a journey across the backbone mountains to The Tentpole of the sky. Once there, they flew to Sauropolis on a skygalley where their Skybaxes (Will's was named Cirrus, and Sylvia's was named Nimbus) were waiting with a note from Oolu saying they were official Skybax Riders.
Will and Sylvia went on many missions together and fell in love.
